Lovely day

So it finally cooled down enough to do something and I'm so tired I'm doing nothing but work and sleep. I've been doing overtime for the past couple weeks... good on the paycheque BAD on the mind and sleep time. God am I tired.

So I read Harry Potter 6. Great book! I was very impressed.... until the ending. I was NOT happy about who died (yeah we all know someone was going to die so get over it). Now I'm waiting for #7. Will it be the last book? We're not going to know, are we...

Went to Mom & Dad's last weekend. Had a good time there. Mom didn't get the job she was going for, but maybe it's for the best. We're going up to the cottage NEXT weekend for Katelynne's christening. Rick's a godfather.

We bought a used laptop this week. Got it off of the Fidelity Employee classifieds. It's a Toshiba something or other. Rick did some research, and to get it refurbished at TigerDirect it was going to be about $1500. We got it for $800 WITH an extra battery. VERY good deal, and we couldn't pass it up. Rick is using it now until we get HIS laptop from Dell. Boy is he ever excited about that.

So Michele found a new job. Two actually. She's moving from her current position to one at a hotel that's less hours, but her second job is teaching music. That's something that's more her style. I hope she finds happiness there.
