Blogging from work...

It's been a week since I posted... sorry about that. Apparently, Michele and Bill are supposed to read the blogs tonight... they're safely ensconsed on their new house, and they have internet, but they're buying a desk tonight after work. I hope you enjoy your read :)

I was wrong on the date of the twin's birthday. Mark and Ryan were born on the 3rd, or so my mom says. Gracie was the 13th. I mailed them gifts the other day. They're not too expensive, but just something small so that they know that I was thinking of them. I hope Lee-Ann actually gives them to them. Right now, that's my main point of stress, but I shouldn't stress about it (according to Dad). He's right... it's eating me up inside. Hopefully, after their birthdays I'll be able to let it go again.

Tyannah's birthday was the 4th, though. She's now a year old :). We tried calling Rob & Tracy on the weekend and they weren't there and there was no answer. Maybe they were in Brampton for Mother's Day... or Collingwood... regardless, I hope to get a hold of them soon.

We're going up to the cottage for my birthday weekend. I honestly wanted a party, but no one that I actually would want to be there will be able to be there... my parents won't come, Lee-Ann doesn't give a sh1t, M&B are in BC and everyone else has their own lives. I do understand that... but Lee-Ann had a party. Rick had a party. It almost feels like no one cares that I'm turning 30 and it's an actual big deal. I'm trying to focus on the positive, but it's really hard... Ok, I'm tearing up SO I'll continue... We're going to the cottage to put in the dock. I've asked Rick to call his mom and request a birthday dinner. Presents are appreciated, of course *grin*, but I would like a dinner like she does for Rick's family. Hopefully we can do that - if I can't be with who I want, at least I can be with who wants to be with me, and who is able... :)

Not much else is new, to be honest. Work is work... between Greg (a guy I work with) and myself, we were able to get the 2nd edition of the Team Newsletter done. It's just awaiting the OK of our manager. It looks good :) We worked hard on it. I hope everything goes well.

Oh!! We finally got the exercise equipment from Jesse (a girl at Rick's work). We got an eliptical and a rowing machine. No, we have yet to use them, but we have to get them upstairs first, and to do that we need to clear up the living room :) So I'll keep you posted as to when they start being put to good use.

Alright, NOW I'm going to go :) Work is busy, and almost over... so I'm going to sign off (and the fact that it's taken me about an hr and a half to write this hehe) Night!!
